About Us

Our Genesis

Our journey began in Chiasso, Switzerland, in July 2008, when PROKON was founded. As a privately held firm, we specialized in designing processes and developing hardware and software for industrial automation, with a particular focus on plastic machinery.

Challenges and Innovations

During our early installations, we encountered significant challenges in managing the moisture content in granules. These issues included:

  • Non-repeatable laboratory measurement methods dependent on technician skills and abilities.
  • Identical drying times for both night and day as suggested by producers (“2-4h”), which did not account for initial moisture, dryer performance, or climatic conditions.

Establishment of Bry-Air PRO-KON GmbH

To address these challenges, Bry-Air PRO-KON GmbH was established in July 2008. We provide advanced solutions for process controls, specifically for monitoring moisture content in-line within dried flowing materials. Leveraging cutting-edge HI-TECH sensors, we have developed an innovative solution aimed at becoming the world leader in in-line moisture measurement for industrial processing.

Achievements and Recognition

Our groundbreaking solutions have earned significant satisfaction from major global companies, leading to remarkable results. This recognition culminated in a prestigious award:

  • September 14, 2010: Bry-Air PROKON received the “CTI START-UP LABEL” from the Swiss Confederation’s Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI), acknowledging our readiness for sustainable business development.
